Essay Prize 2020. The Robinson College Essay Prize is open to all students currently in Year 12 (Lower Sixth, or equivalent) at a UK School. It is designed to give students the opportunity to develop and showcase their independent study and writing skills.

Dukes Education Essay Prize. The Dukes Essay Prize 2020 is now closed for submissions. Essays are being judged and our three winners will be announced on July 1, 2020. Our Essay Prize is a nationwide scheme that encourages academic exploration, creativity, and lateral thinking in students in Yrs 11-12.

Whether you are planning to apply to Cambridge or not, we encourage you to get involved.Robson History Prize The Robson History Prize is an annual competition for Year 12 or Lower 6th students. The Prize was established in 2007 in memory of the historian Robert Robson, who was for many years a Fellow and Tutor at Trinity.


Fitzwilliam College Cambridge Annual Essay Competition (different subject each year) Royal Commonwealth essay competition (under 18) Connell Guides Essay Prize (open to all sixth formers) Humanities. Classics and Ancient History essay competition (run by St John’s College Oxford). Open to year 12 students.Several colleges and departments of the University of Oxford run competitions which are open to students from schools and colleges.Preparing an entry for one of these competitions is a valuable experience for academically motivated students, so please do encourage your students to enter. There are also some exciting prizes to be won.

Queens' College invites submissions for the Estelle English Prize 2019, which will be awarded to the best essay submitted by a Year 12 (Lower Sixth Form) student. Entries should answer one of the following three questions, should be no longer than 2,500 words (including footnotes,references, illustration captions, and any other text), and should reach the College's Tutorial Office no later.
